Elephant & Castles 15th Annual DGM Finale - Featuring the 7th Annual Veterans Fundraiser Recap

This past Saturday there was a lot of golf happening in the area. That caused a very light turn out for this years Finale. Despite the small turnout, we had a great time playing the two short courses at McClelland, Chiltzer & McWoods.

The weather was absolutely perfect highs topping out in the low 60’s and no wind to speak of. We started the day playing Chiltzer first, which is the more open of the two courses. It took less than 2 hours to finish. The 2nd round we played McWoods which the fairways were definitely much tighter than Chiltzer. We finished that round in under two hours as well, wrapping up one of the fastest tournaments ever.

After the second round we did three drawings. The first was for the year long manufacturer CTP challenge sponsored by Prodigy. Jackson Bekemeier won the Prodigy basket. The second drawing was for the Dynamic Discs/Trilogy CTP challenge. James Martin won the DD basket. Both players have been notified. The last was the raffle that raised money for the Heartland Canines for Veterans (HCV). We were very thankful to raise nearly $900, despite the small field. On behalf of the HCV, James Childers, and Jimmi Burgess, thank you for the huge effort in helping Vets!
