Runnin Trails with Squatch Recap

Players checked in starting at 7:45 a.m. and received a player's pack with a disc, shirt, and tour towel bag! Everyone loved the new full turn shortcut and the T-shirt with Squatch on the back that was in the players pack. The morning started out great it was cool with no rain. the field started with 84 people with first round starting at 9am. Towards the end of first round it did start raining but it was not downpouring, most players did very well on the blue course through the rain. they said the trees helped keep most of the rain off of them. After first round which started around 1130am lunch was served hamburger, nachos, and a drink. Most people grabbed a plate and rested in their cars or under the porch to try to stay dry, as it was still raining, till the start of second round. We did have three people drop out after first round. second round started about 2:20 pm with rain still coming down. Second round was done about 5:00 p.m. and we started with cash payouts and am payouts. After all payouts were completed we had the raffle with Laney and Coop taking the RV tonight stay package and Micah took the big ticket item the monkey basket. Everyone did very well for the rain pretty much staying all day it did lighten up here and there but second round pretty much soaked everybody, but they were all troopers. It was a great tournament and everyone did very well and we hope to see you all at the next one!
